We encourage our followers and community to participate in relevant and respectful discussions on our feed, but rudeness, harassment, and personal attacks will not be tolerated.

Please remember this is a platform for learning “how to DIY” for both myself and others on the account. There will be plenty of moments when we will be doing a lot of “I’ve never done this before” and learning how to do something for the first time.

This means constructive feedback and healthy discussions over means & methods are always welcome. However, criticism is not.

Constructive feedback for example:

“I recommend using X because you’ll get a better quality product with less effort”

Criticism, for example:

“You don’t know what you’re doing, so you shouldn’t do it;”
“That’s ugly, and I would never do that.”

If you are unsure of the difference, refrain from commenting.

Malicious comments, rudeness, personal attacks, and bullying towards this account, myself, guests, followers, and other commenters are not allowed. Period. This includes name-calling and speaking down to anyone on the feed – but I shouldn’t have to clarify that, should I?

Negative comments will be immediately deleted without warning, and I reserve the right to permanently remove, suspend, or block you from accessing our accounts.

We have zero tolerance for negativity, and there will be no exceptions to this policy.
